Snuffy 1.0
A Magic Cap hack package
© 1995 Steve Klingsporn (moofie@dogcow.com)
What is it?
Snuffy is a silly hack for Magic Cap that replaces Sniffy the search dog (found
in your communicator's Magic Lamp) with a more suitable creature. Sniffy is
murdered once you unpack the package, and his body is tossed in the trash.
Why?
It's a Hack I wrote in a shitty hotel in Southfield, Michigan for MacHack '95.
How much does it cost?
It's free, of course, and the source is included. I hope you learn from the
source (like I learned while writing it). Feel free to chop it up and use
parts of it in your package; most of this package is based on a package shell
I have, which is based on the EmptyPackage sample that ships with
CodeWarrior/Magic.
Credits
Thanks to Peter DiCamillo for the initial idea, and to Greg Marriott for helping
me find a better way to install my hack than I had been doing (subclassing
NameCard is evil because if you have another package with the same citation
& stuff, you get two name cards installed, which is yucky).
